Position description – DP & MYP ESS & Biology Teacher
Required qualifications/skills:
The position of DP/MYP Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) and
Biology teacher requires that the successful candidate has:
a teaching qualification
a relevant initial degree
at least two years full time teaching experience
Desired qualifications/skills:
The position of DP/MYP ESS and Biology teacher will involve teaching w i t h i n the DP and MYP programmes and i t
is strongly desired that the successful candidate has:
Prior experience at teaching both in the DP and MYP
Has received DP and MYP focused professional development
Is cognizant of, and his/her teaching philosophy should reflect that of, the IB DP and MYP programmes.
Is knowledgeable and comfortable with regards to the the Extended Essay, CAS, Personal project, Learner
Profile and student centred learning.
