Anton Bruckner International School (ABIS) is currently seeking positive, energetic and experienced teachers to join us.
Anton Bruckner International School is an IB World School authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP), and the Middle Years Programme (MYP). We will have the first cohort of Diploma (DP) students starting in September 2026. It is located in Linz, Austria and is a caring, cosmopolitan community of vibrant learners. Brief Description of Position:
ABIS is looking to recruit a qualified PYP German Teacher for students aged 6-11 years old.
Skills and qualifications include:
Qualified German degree or Austrian Primary School degree (Master’s preferred)
Fluent in English
Recognized teaching qualification in home country
Two years minimum experience
Able to provide evidence of differentiated and scaffolded curriculum/lessons
Experience in teaching PYP or open and able to apply IB style teaching methods
Commitment to ongoing IB and other professional development
Willingness to develop and promote a growing school, staff, and student body
Experience in an international school context is essential
Commitment to diversity and inclusion in addition to adapting and developing pedagogy
