Position Overview:


Eastwood Global is seeking qualified and experienced educators to teach Mathematics for grade 10 in our specialized online programs. Our programs are designed to cater to the unique aspirations of each learner. Every service provider at Eastwood Global is a member of our team and is responsible to:

  • The Academic Director: For the effective delivery of the curriculum and the effective use of Eastwood’s digital learning environment.

  • The Director: For the support of and adherence to Eastwood Global’s policies.


General responsibilities 


Every service provider will:


  • collaborate with the Academic Director to develop and deliver the school’s curriculum

  • collaborate with all teachers to ensure that the school’s curriculum provides a supportive learning environment for all members of the school community 

  • promote a culture where diversity and inclusion are encouraged and students strive for academic excellence 

  • be a life-long learner 


Specific responsibilities 


A. To lead learning, every service provider will 

1. ensure a consistent collaborative focus on improving student learning outcomes through the effective understanding, delivery, and analysis of the school’s curriculum 

2. differentiate in the classroom, taking into account each student’s learning needs 

3. use a wide range of creative teaching styles 

4. contribute to the development of interdisciplinary learning 

5. analyse and evaluate student performance data and take appropriate action in support of individual student learning 

6. ensure students have an active and engaged role in developing their own learning outcomes 

7. attend scheduled meetings



B. To lead teaching, every service provider will 

  1. Support the delivery of a high-quality, innovative curriculum.

  2. Be familiar with course syllabi, support materials, and relevant regulations.

  3. Adhere to all requirements and deadlines for external examinations and internal assessments.

  4. Ensure curriculum mapping is accurate and unit planners and presentations are available as required by the Academic Director.

  5. Effectively use digital platforms (ManageBac, Google Apps, Kognity) in line with expectations. 



C. To support quality assurance, every service provider will 

  1. Uphold and support school policies.

  2. Accurately record all assessment data.

  3. Evaluate classroom learning effectiveness using multiple sources, including student assessment data, learning outcomes, and feedback.

  4. Record student attendance accurately and promptly.

  5. Provide timely feedback and record any safeguarding concerns.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in related subject

  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the subject specified.

  • Proficiency in online teaching platforms

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Strong commitment to student-centered learning


Pay Structure


  • Competitive Compensation per hour
