We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the IBPYP curriculum, fostering a love for
learning, and supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. This is an

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the IBPYP curriculum, fostering a love for
learning, and supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. This is an

development of the only IBPYP school in Lubumbashi.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inquiry-based lessons in alignment with the IBPYP
framework.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
and collaboration.
Assess and document student progress using formative and summative assessment
strategies.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement transdisciplinary units of inquiry.
Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and
stay updated on IBPYP standards.
Contribute to the school’s mission of promoting international-mindedness and holistic
education.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (a Master’s degree is an advantage).
Teaching certification or equivalent qualification.
Experience teaching in an IBPYP school is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of the IBPYP philosophy and inquiry-based learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency in English (knowledge of French is an asset).
A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
